This Storm Restoration Manual has been developed by Distribution Services on behalf of Electric Cities of Georgia, Inc. (ECG).  This manual is intended solely for the use by members of ECG and their assigns.

It must be recognized that no restoration manual can cover each and every situation.  There is no substitute for the sound judgment by those involved. 

The goal of this Storm Restoration Manual is to assist ECG members in developing a proactive plan for the restoration of electric service that ensures minimum outage times for customers, a safe working environment for employees, a positive public image for ECG members, and an improved quality of life for citizens and customers. 

Contained in this Manual are restoration methods adhering to sound electric distribution practices.  Each ECG member is solely responsible for the applications of the methods described herein.
